Nature led dried floral design.
Flowers grown, dried and transformed in to sculptural works, installations and beautiful arrangements for special occasions and everyday life.

Hi, I'm Sarah Breese, an artist creating with dried, seasonal and foraged botanicals, inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Through bespoke installations, intimate workshops and enduring floral pieces, my work invites nature gently into our everyday spaces.

SHOPA selection of smaller pieces I create to order, made from flowers and foliage I have grown here where I live in the Dyfi valley. Bouquets and Wreaths are all 100% compostable and entirely natural.
-
BESPOKEFrom window displays and large-scale installations to one-off commissions for the home, each piece is thoughtfully designed to respond to its setting and tell a story through the medium of flowers.
-
WORKSHOPSWorkshops exploring dried flowers, creativity and sustainable floristry. Join me in the Dyfi Valley or online to explore where art and nature meet. Sessions can cover wreaths, bouquets or larger arrangements.
I create with naturally dried plants, grown and gathered on the landscape I call home. My work explores our connection with the natural world, guided by a commitment to sustainability and a desire to tread as lightly as possible. Wreaths and bouquets are fully home compostable, and larger pieces are made using reusable mechanics.

A beautiful way to bring nature in to your home all year...
I grow as much as possible in our half-acre garden, the act of growing and nurturing the flowers is as central to the practice as the pieces themselves. I love to experiment with a wide range of flowers and foliage, and am especially interested in drying unusual, non-traditional plants to expand the possibilities of working with natural materials and to push the boundaries of scale and aesthetics.
With a background in fine art and a deep reverence for nature, this work is the perfect merging of my two loves.
"We received our bouquet and it was packaged so well. The bouquet arrived intact and is just gorgeous - I’m so pleased with it. The flower selection and colours are beautiful and so artistically and carefully arranged - a real work of art." - Erica

Sustainable floral design
I create dried floral pieces using compostable or reusable materials, avoiding floral foam, glues, single-use plastics, dyes, sprays and bleaching. My bouquets are finished with acid-free paper and natural jute twine, while my wreaths are secured with natural materials, making them home compostable.
The majority of the botanicals I work with are grown and dried by me or sourced from British growers. Each arrangement is designed to last, with consideration given to the materials used throughout its life cycle.
installations for spaces and events
I create bespoke dried floral installations for shop windows, businesses, interiors, weddings and events. Working with dried flowers I create sculptural pieces that respond to the character of each space... from immersive window displays to considered installations that bring texture, colour and natural form into their surroundings.
Dried botanicals offer a versatile and lasting way to bring nature into commercial and private spaces. As seasons change and individual elements naturally soften, I offer seasonal refreshes to restore, adapt and evolve existing installations - rather than replacing - allowing each piece to continue growing with the space it inhabits.
Floral art
Dried flowers offer a unique opportunity to create sculptural floral art that goes beyond the fleeting nature of fresh flowers. Working with materials I have grown, gathered and preserved myself, I create pieces in response to the spaces they inhabit — celebrating the textures, structures and wiggly lines found in nature!
