Exploring the intersection between florals and fine art

Welcome. I’m a UK-based artist working with dried flowers in the Dyfi Valley, Wales.

I create sculptural floral works, installations, wreaths and bouquets, alongside workshops - both in person and online - that explore dried botanicals as a medium for expression and experimentation.
My work exists in close relationship with the land, shaped by observing, gathering, and working with seasonal plant material. In the pieces I create, I hope to mirror the shifting, impermanent nature of the landscapes around me while also creating something beautiful and evocative.

Rooted in the landscapes of southern Snowdonia, I am an artist and grower drawn to the beauty and intricacies of the natural world.

I create with naturally dried flowers and foliage, working with materials gathered from my surroundings to explore our relationship with the natural world, with a strong focus on sustainable floristry. Where possible the work I make is fully compostable, or for larger pieces I am able to use the wire mechanics again and again.

I grow as much as possible on our half-acre plot. The act of growing and nurturing the flowers that become the medium for my artistic expression is as central to the practice as the pieces themselves.

I love to experiment with a wide range of flowers and foliage, and am especially interested in drying unusual, non-traditional flowers to expand the possibilities of working with natural materials and to push the boundaries of scale and aesthetics.

With a background in fine art and a deep reverence for nature, this work merges my two loves perfectly. My practice brings together dried floral design and fine art, combining creative expression with a grounded, nature-led process.
