“Life is a garden, not a road.

We enter and exit through the same gate.

Wandering, where we go matters less than what we notice.”

- Kurt Vonnegut

Farewell Flowers

I work with naturally dried flowers to create pieces that sit softly within times of loss and grief. Their understated presence brings comfort that lasts beyond the day itself — a steady reminder as the weeks and months unfold.

A Gentle, Lasting Presence

Dried flowers don’t abruptly change state but soften slowly, their colours settling into muted tones over time. Their lifespan moves at a much more gradual pace, so there’s no abruptness in their arc of existence. Instead, they have a slower kind of rhythm.

All of my pieces are nature-led, and are entirely foam-free and plastic-free, using naturally dried flowers I've predominantly grown here where I live. This makes them a sustainable, eco-friendly choice for natural memorial flowers.

Ways to Honour and Remember

Wreaths - A dried wreath can hang on a wall for months, even years, becoming a small touchpoint for memory and reflection.

Remembrance Posies -These offer something tangible for friends and family to have in their own homes, when the fresh flowers have long since wilted and the cards have been tucked away.

Dried Sympathy Bouquets - A way to send love to those we’re holding close, without the sudden shift that comes when fresh blooms fade within days. If you purchase a sympathy bouquet, you’re welcome to share a message — I will handwrite it on a card to accompany the flowers.

Ordering

Below, you’ll find a selection of earlier pieces. Many have now sold, but they give a sense of my style, approach, and pricing if you’re considering a custom order. For keepsakes, posies, and sympathy flowers, simply add your chosen piece to the basket and note your preferred colour palette.

I aim to post orders within a week, though if you need something sooner, just send me a message and I’ll always do my best to help.

Whenever possible, my creations are made from plants I’ve grown or foraged here in the Dyfi Valley where I live. Because they require no water and have no vase life to consider, these arrangements can be sent anywhere in the UK, and safely kept until the day of the service.
In each piece, I intertwine locally grown flowers and foliage with dried herbs, each carrying its own ancient wisdom and symbolism. Bay, Mugwort and Rosemary are some of my favourites to use.

Custom Designs

I feel especially drawn to creating custom farewell arrangements, that feel personal and meaningful. We can discuss your ideas and find a way to create something that feels right for you.
