Come and spend some time creating with me here in the Dyfi Valley. My in-person workshops are relaxed, 1:1 or 1:2 sessions held at my home and studio near Machynlleth, surrounded by the garden where I grow many of the flowers we’ll work with.
Each session is shaped around you and what you’d most like to focus on. There is the option of focusing on smaller arrangements like wreaths or bouquets, and also larger pieces too. We will explore different techniques and ways of working with dried flowers and can discuss growing, harvesting and drying as we work. Before you visit, I’ll be in touch to find out what you’d like to focus on so I can tailor our time together and have everything ready for you.
All flowers and materials are included in my in person sessions.
Half-day sessions include light refreshments, while full-day sessions also include lunch. I’m around seven miles from Machynlleth station and am happy to collect and drop you back there if you’re travelling by train.
One small word of warning if you’re driving: I live at the end of a gated, rather bumpy track through farmers fields, so if you drive a low to the ground city car just be aware of that. Again, I am happy to collect you from a local car park if you prefer not to drive up.
